RX Vega specs leak, confirms 8GB HBM2

AMD’s RX Vega has been talked about for months with leaks and rumours everywhere. At first they were flimsy and vague, now specific details are appearing relating to benchmarks of the GPU. A benchmark database entry for what could be an AMD RX Vega engineering sample leaked onto the web, which confirms that the GPU has 64 Compute Units and 8GB of HBM2.

The leak occurred on the SiSoft benchmark database, listing an AMD 687F:C3 device ID. Previously the 687F:C1 wwas confirmed to be a Vega GPU. The change at the end could either point to multiple versions of Vega, or an updated engineering sample.

The RX Vega has an 8GB 2048-bit memory configuration, 4,096 Stream Processors and 64 Compute Units. Other than that, we really have to wait for its reveal.
